I'm in the process of adding better SSL handling to MozNET. I'm sure you don't like it (nor do your users) when accessing a site that XulRunner deems to have an invalid SSL certificate - I know I don't like it. Well, it's time to do something about it. I've seen a few various hacks on the net and don't like how they work - physically moving and/or modifying files, etc.. No more. It can be done without those stupid hacks and I have proof of it..

I know what you may be thinking.. I just navigated the browser to my web site and then replaced the text in the address bar - but, that isn't so
What you see is the Se7en Soft web site, actually loaded via HTTPS - XulRunner flags my site certificate as invalid by default. The feature may not make it into the next release but, it will appear soon. Just know that it is completely possible to do it's just that it needs to be done correctly.
Just for the record,
unlike in this GeckoFX related post, NO XulRunner files were modified to do this!
EDIT: I believe this feature will be implemented in the next release! You'll even be able to fly your own acceptance dialog
